Haminastu / Haminasto / Hami asto / Hami astu Meaning

Haminastu (also spelled as Haminasto, Haminast, Hameenastu, Hameenasto, Hameenast, Hami astu, Hami asto, Hami ast, Hamee astu, Hamee asto, or Hamee ast) is a Farsi/ Persian phrase because of its usage in a saying by famous poet Amir Khusrau in regard with Kashmir.

The line goes as, "gar Firdaus bar rōy-e zamin ast, hamin ast-o hamin ast-o hamin ast." (—گر فردوس بر روئے زمین است ہمیں است ہمیں است و ہمیں است)

That is, "If there is paradise on earth somewhere, it's here, it's here, it's here.

Hameen ast basically means 'It is here.'
