Air Vistara | Vistara Meaning

Vistara is a Sanskrit word which is used in Hindi and many other Indian languages as well. The meaning of 'vistaara' or 'vistara' is 'expansion', and the word is probably used for 'Air Vistara' because an airline is an almost unlimited expansion of the human limits, not just in terms of travel, but simply the existence of humans, which does not happen for average people beyond the surface of earth, in the unlimited space.

Air Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines. Before this, Tatas had started India's first airline in early 1930s, which went on to become India's national carrier Air India in 1946.
